Managing users

Regarding user registration, the platform offers two different ways of creating accounts:

  • Manual creation of individual accounts
  • User import via spreadsheet

Choosing the most appropriate method depends on the number of users to be registered and the operational needs of the hub.

User Registration

To register individual users, the Hub Administrator must access the Hub Administration section and then the Hub Users tab. On this screen, the New User button will be available. When selecting it, the platform will open a modal in which the administrator can fill in the user’s basic data, such as name, email, telephone number, position and access level. After filling in the information and defining the user profile on the platform, simply select the Create User option to complete the registration. This method is mainly recommended for registering managers or for a small number of employees. Changing the user profile can also be done using the pencil icon next to the user profile, in the actions section. This way, the administrator can change the user’s profile at any time, even after the user is registered on the platform.

User registration via mass import follows the same initial path. The Administrator must access Hub Administration and the Hub Users tab, select the Import Users button and then a modal will be displayed with a spreadsheet template containing the mandatory fields for registration. After correctly filling out the spreadsheet with the necessary information, the file must be sent by uploading it to the platform. Then, users will be automatically registered, with the data entered being associated with their respective profiles within the hub.

In the Pending section, users who still need to be approved to complete their registration on the hub will be listed.

Whenever someone creates an account externally on the platform or makes an application without previously registering, that user will automatically appear in this section. It will be up to the Administrator to analyze and approve (or not) the registration, granting access to the hub only after this validation.

In the Authentication section, it is possible to configure the platform so that users access the hub through an SSO (Single Sign-On) authentication system. This configuration allows login to be performed using the organization’s corporate credentials, ensuring greater security, access control and convenience for users.
