First Steps
Before your team starts using Quiker at full capacity, the Hub administrator needs to make sure the organization’s basic structure is set up correctly. A well-prepared environment prevents rework and ensures that campaigns, projects, and indicators work in an integrated way from the start. The checklist below walks you through the essential steps of the initial setup.
Check the Planning Cycle
Go to Organization → Planning Cycles and confirm there is an active cycle for the current period. The planning cycle is the Hub’s foundation — without an active cycle, campaigns and projects cannot be linked to strategic goals. If needed, create a new cycle by setting its name, start and end dates, and the period’s objectives.
Register the strategic Indicators
In Settings → Registrations → Indicators, check that the organization’s KPIs are registered and up to date. Indicators are the basis for monitoring strategic performance — they appear in campaigns, projects, and reports. Register each indicator with a name and unit of measure.
Configure Categories and Spending Categories
Go to Settings → Registrations → Categories to define the classifications that will be used in projects and campaigns. Categories help organize and filter campaigns and projects by theme, area, or type. Then configure the Spending Categories to standardize financial control across the organization’s projects.
Register or import Users
In Settings → Hub Administration → Users, add team members individually — filling in name, email, and profile — or import a list via spreadsheet using the template available on the platform. Make sure to assign the correct profile to each user (Administrator, Manager, Evaluator, Collaborator, or Participant), as this defines what each person can see and do in the Hub. When registering or importing users, you can choose to send the access credentials by email.
Validate user access
After registering the users, ask at least one representative of each profile to log in to the platform and confirm they see the expected features. Check that the side menu shows the correct sections for each profile and that the email invites were delivered without issues.
Note: This checklist is recommended for the Hub’s initial setup. In recurring rollouts or when starting a new planning cycle, you can skip the steps that have already been completed.
